Summer means Aperol. Sunshine on your face, a glass in your hand and that recognizable orange look that instantly evokes a holiday feeling. Every year, A Brand New Day develops several activations for the Aperol brand. And us? We make sure those activations actually come to life.
The Aperol Summerbox
Every spring we produce the Aperol Summerbox: an eye-catching box filled with promotional materials for points of sale. Think window stickers, glassware, flyers, table cards and perfect serve cards that are used both indoors and outdoors to make Aperol visible.
Because these communication materials are used in different environments — from café terraces to retail floors — smart material choices are essential. That’s why we work with a variety of printing techniques and material suppliers to ensure everything fits together perfectly. From print to signage, we coordinate the entire project from A to Z, including handling and distribution. This way, all points of sale are ready for the summer campaign right on time.
Moving eye-catchers
For the summer of 2020 we received an extra sunny challenge: transforming a Piaggio Ape and a cargo bike into moving Aperol ambassadors. Not with standard stickers, but fully custom-made — from lettering to striking LED lighting on the bike.
We translated the brand into a mobile experience. Bright orange colors, a clean visual style and a finish that can withstand heavy use. Driving through shopping streets and past terraces, they attracted attention, were photographed and created instant recognition.
In short: Aperol became impossible to miss. The activation did exactly what it was meant to do — bringing people into a summer mood, thinking of sunshine and, of course, an Aperol Spritz in hand.
