LensOnline, a leading name in the optical sector with around 200 affiliated stores in Belgium and the Netherlands, was looking to streamline its internal processes and manage its communication materials with greater consistency and efficiency. What started as a promising presentation years ago at their headquarters in Kruibeke, eventually evolved into a collaboration that has proven highly beneficial for both LensOnline and Dex.
The journey began with a request for support during seasonal promotions like Black Friday, Winter Deals, and Summer Deals. LensOnline needed a fast and flexible way to order POS materials—such as posters, reboards, and floor stickers—and ensure timely delivery to all affiliated stores. That’s when they discovered the power and ease of our custom-built web application.
The power of centralisation
Our web application is designed to help organisations like LensOnline manage all communication tools from one central location. The affiliated stores across Belgium and the Netherlands can now order, customise, and download their print materials, promotional items, and even social media assets—all fully on brand and without needing a designer or comms team.
LensOnline uses the platform for a wide range of products: from brochures, flyers, and bags to small lens box stickers, pens, cubes, and beach flags. All materials—including digital files like logo kits and social media posts—are available in both Dutch and French.
Efficiency, focus, and sustainability
By storing inventory items at Dex, LensOnline frees up space at its headquarters and gains more control over purchasing. But most materials are produced on demand—an intentional choice to prevent waste and adapt quickly to current needs. The ordering cycle is clear: anything ordered before the 1st of the month is shipped no later than the 15th. This allows stores to order exactly what they need—saving costs and reducing environmental impact.
A collaboration that delivers
Dex handles the entire process: production, order picking, and delivery. Every two weeks, all orders are bundled and sent to the correct store. This allows LensOnline to stay focused on its core business, while we take care of the operational details with precision.
And the benefits go beyond efficiency. With our web application, LensOnline has better insight into what’s needed at both the store and organisational level. The management data helps them make smarter strategic decisions—resulting in cost control and a more consistent brand experience for customers.
